Nestled within Kailua-Kona's popular oceanfront Kona Reef Resort, our modern one bedroom/one bath condo overlooks Hawaii's stunning western coastline. We renovated our unit in October of 2023 complete with top of the line stainless steel appliances (including a countertop ice maker that magically makes ice for your favorite beverages in minutes!) and we've invested in the highest quality furniture and amenities.
Our king size bed, queen size sofa bed, and linens are premium, offering a sleep experience akin to a luxury hotel. Tasteful, contemporary furniture sourced from Kona's top furnishings shops combine with select vintage Hawaiian pieces to create a warm, inviting island feel that's both comfy and uncluttered.
A spacious living area opens up to a private lanai offering stunning ocean views and spectacular sunsets. Savor your morning Kona coffee or favorite cocktail while gentle waves lap against the shoreline. Absolute bliss! Once inside your unit, double-paned glass windows and doors guarantee absolute quiet. (Many Kona Reef units still have hand crank single pane windows and those types of windows cannot guarantee complete peace and quiet.)

Ease of Access: Kona Kool Penthouse is so easy to find! When you enter Kona Reef’s main parking lot from Alii Drive, the elevator to our unit is right next to the rental office -and it’s the only elevator you’ll need to get to the condo. No need to wander through the resort looking for the right elevator. And great news: there are absolutely no stairs to climb.
Full Air-Conditioning Throughout: Whisper quiet split a/c in both the living area and bedroom guarantee your utmost comfort. Please be aware that some units at Kona Reef offer only minimal a/c in the living area and no a/c in the bedroom. Some units offer no air conditioning at all. At Kona Kool Penthouse, your personalized custom temperature is always at your fingertips.
